This listing is for one natural Spirit Quartz (Ametrine) cluster from South Africa. This particular variant exhibits both amethyst and the formation of citrine, with the two often times merging at some point giving you a mix of orange/yellow and purple. While it may be said that ametrine comes exclusively from Bolivia, what we have in these variants of Spirit Quartz is, in my opinion, not much different as they are formed in similar circumstances of Bolivian Ametrine.

"The citrine segments have oxidized iron while the amethyst segments are unoxidized. The different oxidation states occur due to there being a temperature gradient across the crystal during its formation."
