An exceptionally large Black Garnet crystal from Mali, in quite pristine condition. Garnet is quite dense, so it is extremely hefty when held in your hand. Many specimens that come out of Mali are much smaller and in far worse condition. It is all natural and has not been polished, though it has been cleaned.
