An all natural formation of Barite. It is an infrequent thing to come upon, I have learned. This particular piece has a luster to it that is quite similar to lepidolite, just gray instead of purple. In it's crevices there are a number of interlocking blades that are incredibly thin! There are a few 'shelves' on which the tiny blades are growing together as well.
