Beautiful natural pieces of Ethiopian opal. Ethiopian opal is much more durable than Australian opals by virtue of being more resistant to drying out. In any case, care should be taken to not submerge them in water for any substantial length of time. Welo opal is somewhat plentiful though by no means terribly common.
