These beautiful clusters of red and grey hematoid quartz hail from Zambia. Phantoms and elestial growth can be seen in these pieces. Minor damage can be found at times, which is typical of the ordeal these clusters must go through before they are in our hands. We select the best of the lot and try have all damage minimized.

This guy, admittedly, struck me as rather ugly (aesthetically) at first. But as I've spent time with this formation, photographing and holding it and looking at it more intensely, I have found it to have a remarkable amount of interesting attributes that can make you more curious to look for more. A lot of what I thought was damage is actually elestial growth, as old points can be seen underneath. These old points are milky in color.
